About us

I am a retired Bank Manager, my wife is a teacher, when we were younger we traveled a lot and organized our visit by ourselves, what we missed was someone who could help us to prepare the trip being a native of the places we were going to visit (travel agencies want just to sell you something already packed up without having any knowledge of the places).

This is the reason why, since we own two apartments in the Center of Rome, we decided to use them as Vacation Houses (duly appointed with the local City Authority) to help our guests to enjoy their holiday in Rome, so we send in advance some mails of information which, according to the reports we receive, are very useful to organize the stay in this beautiful City, and are ready to try to answer whatever question the guests can have.

About our neighborhood

The Monti district is renowned for its pizzerias and restaurants. It also hosts many bars and cafes.

Walking five minutes towards Quirinale Hill, where can be seen the XVI Century Residence of our President, you cross Via Nazionale a quite important shopping street where you can browse the colourful independent shops and boutiques and find whatever goods, mainly Italian style, you may desire.

No need to mention that we are right in the historical center of Rome, in the Suburra which, according to the legend, is the place where Emperor Nero in 64 AD had started a fire in order to clear land for his planned palatial complex, the Domus Aurea. All the famous ancient monuments (Colosseum, Fora, Trevi Fountain, Barberini Palace, etc.) are to be found at a short walking distance.
